training events: March 2016 Archives

Two sessions are planned in the UQ pool in order to learn how to do T rescues in sea kayaks. This is a different method to what you may have learned in canoe polo or whitewater, and is a method of rescuing someone who is out of their boat a long way from shore.

The last of three general pool training evenings on the UQ pool. Learn basic and more advanced paddling and rescue techniques in a clean warm environment. New members don't miss out (open to old members who want to learn or refresh their skills!).

Club induction sessions will be run starting at different times through the morning. Register online.
