A day trip to Coochiemudlo island in Moreton Bay to learn the basic skills needed for sea kayaking.

Flatwater coaching sessions are planned for every Saturday starting from the 23rd of August. This will be reviewed after a month and the session dates/times could potentially change depending on the interests of members.

Learn to rescue someone who has come out a sea kayak (sea kayak T-rescues) at the UQ pool. Members need to have demonstrated this to come on sea kayak trips.

This will occur alongside canoe polo at the UQ pool on the evening of Tuesday 26th of August 2014. If you are around earlier, please come and help load sea kayaks at the shed at 7:30 PM.

Weekly Canoe Polo restarts at the UQ pool on Tuesday evenings.

A day at Wivenhoe dam aimed at improving your paddle technique and trying out tippier TK1 and K1 kayaks.

The club has a new coach starting. This is a chance to go for a paddle and meet him, and for him to find out what you are interested in. There will be a coaching sessions afterwards.

Want to try kayaking? Do your friends want to try? This is your chance. The beginning of semester come and try day is scheduled for Saturday 2nd August, between 8:00 AM and 12 AM. Prospective members are encouraged to come.
