We will paddle from the Amazons Place Park in Jindalee back to the UQ Canoe Club and go for a one hour barefoot bowl at the Toowong Lawn Bowls Club.

We will pack our boats on the trailer, drive to the put in point in Jindalee and paddle back to the UQCC boat shed. After we have cleaned the boats, we go for a 1 h barefoot bowl at the Toowong Bowls Club and have some food and drinks. The distance is about 18 km, but we will have tidal assistance and the paddle will take about 4 h.

Paddler Requirements | ✓ Conditions can be calm, but can change dramatically with winds and tides contributing significantly to this.
✓ Paddlers must advise leaders if they have health issues or injuries that may affect participation. Ensure medication is carried and is accessible. If unsure, they should check with their doctor beforehand.
✓ Participants must self-assess their, and their equipment's ability to cope with this grade of club event. The club grading scale is located on the club website. This should be consulted prior to registration, and any concerns or anything needing clarification should be raised with the trip leader beforehand.

Basic Requirements
- Basic fitness (if water based activity)
- You must be a current financial member to participate (except for come and try events). Polo is open to members of Australian canoeing (i.e. members of most AC affiliated canoe clubs).
- You must be able to swim (if event takes place on water)
- You must have signed the club waiver and agreed to abide by the club's rules
About UQCC trips
- Minimum and maximum numbers exist for club trips. Don't miss out, please book your place early.
- Details are subject to change. Please check this web site regularly.
- All trips may be changed due to circumstances or conditions, and trip leaders have the final decision on whether it goes ahead or not, and who goes (they will contact you if this happens).
- Where there is an option to paddle double kayaks, then the first in get singles, and the last ones paddle doubles, unless people specifically want to take double kayaks or the trip leader decides differently.
